I never knew that there were actually train accidents caused by a watch not being set to the correct time. Makes sense, though.
My question is: what did they do if they were traveling through what are now the Time Zones? I would think they had to manually adjust the watches back (if they were traveling east-to-west), and that doing so could easily lead to errors. Or did they just all keep the same time regardless of where they were?
